Unless otherwise agreed, we aim to complete your jewellery repair(s) within 10 working days. We will notify you when your job is ready to collect.

A premium will be applied to urgent jobs that are required within 5 working days.

We regret that some jobs may be unsuitable for repairs. We may ask you to leave an item with us so that we can a) evaluate the feasibility of a repair and b) the estimated cost.

Repairs on sterling silver or costume jewellery may cost more than the original price paid for the item. This reflects the labour and expertise needed to carry out the repair in the UK.

The price of precious metal alloys such as gold and platinum fluctuates daily and this will be reflected in our pricing.

All work carried out on items not originally manufactured or supplied by us is accepted at the owners risk. We cannot guarantee it. Some gemstones including, but not limited to, emeralds and tourmalines are fragile. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to these gemstones.

Occasionally a flaw or fracture in a diamond or other gemstone may be concealed by the setting. Certain repairs may reveal this flaw and the gemstone may further fracture irrecoverably. Whist we endeavour to identify these flaws we cannot be held responsible in any way for loss or damage.

We cannot be held accountable for work carried out previously on any item taken in. This includes wear, damage, modification, missing stones, dents, scratches, porosity, discolouration, uncertified gemstones.

All items accepted are only on the condition that they are the property of the person named on the receipt and that they are insured by them. We do not insure your property. All uncollected repairs and commissions will only be held for six months. Occasionally we send customer repairs other specialist goldsmiths for opinions, advice and technical assistance.
